Mani Ratnam’s Raavan to Release on June 18

Mani Ratnam’s Raavan is one of the much expected movie of Indian film industry in recent times. Now as per sources Raavan will hit the Silver Screens world wide on June 18th.

Currently post-production work of the movie is gong on in Chennai. Mani Ratnam intends to debut the movie at Cannes Film Festival on May 14th and therefore is speeding the completion of the film, so that he would have enough moment in time to promote his multi-starrer multi-lingual film.

Raavan stars Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vikram in the lead roles while Govinda, Ravi Kishan, Nikhil Dwivedi, and Priyamani play key supporting roles. It is simultaneously being made in Tamil as Raavanan with a slightly different cast. The music of the movie is composed by Academy Awards winner A. R. Rahman. The film will also be dubbed into Telugu and other regional languages.
