Vijay to fly to Bangkok

A break in the shoot of his forthcoming film ‘Kaavalkaran’ thanks to the marriage of director Siddique’s daughter in Kerala has made Vijay to take a flight to Bangkok, sources say.

“Vijay is working non-stop for the past one year. He started working for ‘Sura’, his 50th film, immediately after completing ‘Vettaikkaran’. And even before ‘Sura’ hit the screens, he commenced his next venture Kaavalkaran,” they say.

“Hence Vijay badly needed a break and decided to spend this short-summer vacation in Bangkok. It was his longtime practice to spend some days in a foreign locale immediately after completing a movie,” sources add.

Meanwhile, there are others saying the actor is not happy with the way ‘Kaavalkaran’ is shaping up since Siddique is reluctant to do some changes in the script (the original is ‘Bodyguard’ in Malayalam) as requested by Vijay.

“Besides, he is not happy with the box-office collections of ‘Sura’ despite nonstop promotions in the media. These things had made Vijay to fly to Bangkok without even attending the wedding of Siddique’s daughter,” they add.
